Petridisc
A Recording Studio • West Cola, SC
Petridisc is the home basement studio of me, Jay Barry. I try to make good recordings. I play drums in a children’s indie rock band called Lunch Money. Two of our albums, Dizzy and Silly Reflection, were recorded here and issued on Squirrel Mechanic Records.
Below is a list of the current gear at Petridisc. As far as the process of recording, we have a living room for drums, plus rooms for "isolation". It sounds like a house. It goes into a computer and I try to get good sounds in and hope that it all comes out great.

Lunch Money has recorded two albums at Petridisc. We recorded Silly Reflection in 2004 and Dizzy in 2008. We’re currently working on a new album, Original Friend, which will be released later this year. We recorded the basic tracks at the Jam Room, and many of the additional tracks are being recorded here. You can check out a couple tracks from Dizzy here, and also watch a video of Molly (from Lunch Money) singing.
